Engaging Institution

The Line

The Line was created for the Blaue Nacht 2015 at the New Museum in Nuremberg, the briefing was to animate visitors extending their stay in the museum during the event and exploring the cultural institution in an unique and engaging way.

We created a 25-meter long installation functions as a large playground and spatial organizer. The abstract version of a very long bench, made of 80 white air mattresses, providing the guests of the museum a comfortable place to play, relax, recharge and interact.

By sitting down the visitor lifts up its neighbor, which creates an immediate open atmosphere between two strangers.
