Inspired from an early age by the work of American sculptor ALEXANDER CALDER, her appetite for interaction and playfulness was whetted by Calder‘s ability to animate the inanimate through the use of wires, and she has sought ever since to create designs that are both compelling and distinctly creative in their approach. This focus on the interaction between product and user has been the driving force in all of Hennig’s designs.
Hennigs' work has won numerous international design awards and was named one of the ADC YOUNG GUNS 2017, TOP 50 BEST GERMAN DESIGNERS in 2016, by ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST and got nominated for the GERMAN DESIGN AWARD NEWCOMER AWARD 2016.
