The Line was created for the „Blaue Nacht 2015“ at the New Museum in Nuremberg. The 25-meter long installation functions as a large playground and spatial organizer. The abstract version of a very long bench is made of 80 white air mattresses, providing the guests of the museum a comfortable place to play, relax, recharge and interact during the event.

By sitting down the user lifts his neighbor up which creates an immediate playful atmosphere between two strangers. This communicative bouncing up and down adds a playful note to the  installation.
